You are invited to the Managed247 Golf Day
On Thursday 27 August 2026, Managed247 is hosting a complimentary day of golf for technology and business leaders at The Grove, Chandler's Cross, Hertfordshire WD3 4TG. It is our way of saying thank you and bringing good people together: a full round on a championship course, warm hospitality, and time to talk with peers away from the desk. There is no cost to attend.
One of the finest courses in the country
The Grove has hosted the World Golf Championships and the British Masters, and you will play all 18 holes of its Championship Course. Set in five hundred acres of Hertfordshire countryside, twenty five minutes from central London, it is a genuinely special place to spend a day. Each group has a golf buggy with GPS yardage and live electronic scoring, and the practice facilities are open beforehand so you can warm up on the driving range, short-game area and putting green.
How the day runs
- 11:00 Arrival and welcome lunch, with bacon rolls and coffee in the Players Lounge.
- 12:00 Practice facilities open: driving range, short-game area and putting green.
- 12:50 First-tee start, 18 holes on the Championship Course with on-course competitions.
- 17:30 Post-golf drinks in the Stables Courtyard.
- 18:45 A three-course dinner and prize giving in the Players Lounge.
- 20:45 Carriages.
Timings are a guide and we will confirm the detail nearer the time.
Everything is taken care of
Your place is complimentary and everything on the day is on us. All you need to bring is your clubs and your game.
- A full round on The Grove Championship Course, with a first-tee start.

- A welcome lunch on arrival and a three-course dinner with prize giving to finish.
- Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive competitions, a personalised bag tag and first-tee giveaways.

Who it is for
The day is designed for technology and business leaders who would value a few hours away from the desk in good company. There are no presentations and no hard sell, just relaxed networking over golf, drinks and dinner. Whether you are a seasoned player or you have not picked up a club in years, you will be made very welcome.
